ALICE
Introducing Dr. Alice!
Alice is our Lead Veterinarian here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre. She has been a key part of our team since 2020!
Dr. Alice spends 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) here at Vetz and enjoys seeing every furry face (and their humans, of course)!
Dr. Alice has an interest in soft tissue surgery. She also is interested in BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) surgery, helping our flat-faced breeds breathe easier and live better!
At home, Alice shares their life with her Family and most importantly her Border Collie, Bailey.
JESS
Introducing Jess!
Jess is our Practice Manager here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre. She has been the backbone of the clinic since 2016.
Jess is passionate about creating a supportive, positive workplace for both staff and our clients. She keeps the clinic running like a well-oiled machine!
At home, Jess shares their life with her partner and 3 pets, Walter the Whippet, Woody the Russian Blue and the newest member of her family Wren the Whippet.
FLORA
Introducing Dr. Flora!
Flora is one of our veterinarians here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre, she has been a vital part of the team since 2024!
Dr. Flora has an interest in small animal surgery and animal welfare, bringing skills and compassion to every patient she sees.
You will find Flora here on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
At home, Flora keeps busy with her young family, tending to her veggie garden, and loves a challenge at the climbing gym.
ELLA
Introducing Ella!
Ella is one of the nurses here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre. She has been a valued team member since 2023!
Ella is known for her enthusiastic “can-do” attitude! She is a skilled and compassionate nurse who consistently strives to deliver the highest standard of care for every patient she works with!
At home, you will find Ella hanging out with her French Bulldog Louie who keeps her on her toes and brings plenty of smiles!
BROOKE
Introducing Brooke!
Brooke is one of our nurses here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre. She has been a cherished member of the team since 2025!
A dedicated and caring nurse, Brooke goes above and beyond to treat every patient as if they were her own. She’s truly the sunshine of the clinic—her bright, bubbly attitude brings smiles to everyone she meets.
At home, Brooke likes to read a good book and snuggle up with her two cats, Winnifred and Drusilla.
LYNDA
Introducing Dr. Lynda Shaw!
Lynda is one of our veterinarians here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre. She has been a vital part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Lynda has a keen interest in small animal medicine, ophthalmology, and managing chronic health conditions. She loves building lasting relationships with her patients and their humans, and is known for her calm, thorough approach.
You will find her in clinic on Monday, Thursday, Friday and every second Saturday!
At home, she shares her couch with Maple, a rescue cat who never quite made it back from her foster care stint.
MIKAELA
Introducing Dr. Mikaela!
Mikaela is one of our veterinarians here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre. She has been a valued part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Mikeala has been driven by a lifelong passion for animals, and the people that love them. She has a special interest in feline welfare and is fear-free certified, helping ensure every visit is as stress-free and comfortable as possible.
You will find her in the clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
At home, she loves to hang out at the beach and shares her life with her partner and much-loved feline and canine “children”, Felicity and Olive.
DIANNE
Introducing Dianne!
Di is one of our nurses here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre. She has been a valued part of the team since 2025.
A true cat lover at heart, Di is always happiest when there are felines on the patient list, the more, the better! Di is a compassionate and focused team member who loves working alongside the vets to provide the best possible care for every patient.
When she’s not in the clinic, Di enjoys spending time at home with her beloved cat, Pippi, the queen of the household!
SHARLENE
Introducing Sharlene!
Shar is our receptionist here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre. She has been a vital part of the team since 2018!
She’s often the friendly voice you’ll hear when you call, thanks to her vast experience and knack for quickly assessing how best to help with any query. With Shar behind the desk, you know you’re in caring and capable hands from the moment you pick up the phone.
Outside of work, she’s a busy mum to three wonderful kids, as well as Lotte the lovable dog and Bugs the cheeky bunny, who keeps her on her toes!
VICTORIA
Introducing Dr. Victoria!
Vicki is one of our veterinarians here at Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre. She has been a valued part of the team since 2024!
She takes pride in building meaningful relationships with pets and their humans, offering personalised care tailored to each animal’s unique needs. Victoria has a soft spot for senior pets and is especially passionate about palliative and end-of-life care.
She also offers gentle, in-home end-of-life services, ensuring your beloved companion can pass peacefully in the comfort of their own surroundings.
At home, Victoria is kept on her toes by her goofy Whippet x Italian Greyhound Prince Zuko and her wise old cat, Swayze.
MACEY
