Dr Edwina Lawson

Edwina graduated from the University of Nottingham in the UK, and her veterinary journey has taken her across the globe. After working in Mexico with World Horse Welfare, she returned to Australia to complete a 12-month internship in Equine Medicine and Intensive Care.

Since then, Edwina has worked in a mix of practices – from equine clinics to companion animal hospitals – gaining a broad and well-rounded skill set. She joined the Macquarie Vetz team in 2024 and brings a strong focus on evidence-based medicine, staying up to date with the latest research to ensure the best outcomes for her patients.

When she’s not in the clinic, Edwina enjoys soaking up the great outdoors and spending quality time with her young family.
